I offer tuition for upper Key Stage 2 pupils, designed to build their confidence to achieve success in their SATs. Ideally, this would start in Year 5, but I am happy to work with children moving into Year 6. I will work with your child on a variety of SAT style questions, both to familiarise them with the format and to assess their current attainment.

The SATS cover several areas: spelling, grammar, reading, arithmetic and reasoning. In order for children to achieve success, there is specific knowledge that must be revised, and I will, of course, work with your child on this. However, some of the tests, particularly reading and maths reasoning, rely on thinking deeply and clear logical reasoning, so I will also develop these skills.

Through a tailored programme of revision, practice and feedback, I will support your child to reach their potential in their assessments.
