I offer tuition for upper Key Stage 2 pupils, designed to build their confidence to achieve success in their SATs. Ideally, this would start in Year 5, but I am happy to work with children moving into Year 6. I will work with your child on a variety of SAT style questions, both to familiarise them with the format and to assess their current attainment.

The SATS cover several area: spelling, grammar, reading, arithmetic and reasoning. In order for children to achieve success, there is specific knowledge that must be revised, and we will, of course, work on this. However, some of the tests, particularly reading and maths reasoning, rely on thinking deeply and clear logical reasoning, so we will also work to develop these skills.

Through a tailored programme of revision, practice and feedback, I will support your child to reach their potential in their assessments.
